Team workload on one screen

Projects rarely slip because nobody knows what to do. They slip because the one person carrying three tasks cannot get through them. The workload panel shows who is overloaded and who is free — before the deadline moves.

01 / What you see

Load, not a calendar

A calendar shows what is planned. The workload view shows whether it is possible at all — how many hours are assigned to a person against how many they actually have.

📊

Workload panel

A visual overview of each team member's load. Over- and under-allocated resources stand out from the table immediately.

🗓️

Weekly capacity

Each member's available time is configurable. Holidays, sick leave and part-time staff show up in planning instead of arriving as a surprise.

🎯

Assigning resources

Assign people to tasks by availability and skill — so the whole critical path does not land on one person.

⚖️

Load balance

Spotting over- and under-allocation lets you redistribute work before someone burns out.

02 / Connectedness

Load comes from the tasks, not a separate sheet

The resource view reads the planned and actual hours of the same project's tasks. You do not maintain load separately — it updates when the work changes.

  • Estimate next to actual

Planned hours beside what was actually spent show whether the estimates are realistic at all.

  • Changes carry through

Move a deadline in the Gantt view or reassign a task and the load picture changes with it.

  • Permission-aware

You see load across the projects you own or that are shared with you — not the whole organisation's.

03 / What is accounted for

A realistic plan accounts for people

A hundred per cent utilisation is not the goal. Slack is what lets a project absorb surprises without the whole schedule collapsing.

Frequently asked questions

How does the system know how loaded someone is?

Load is calculated from the hours assigned to tasks against that person's weekly capacity. The sharper the estimates, the more reliable the picture.

Do I have to configure capacity for each person?

Full time is assumed by default. For part-time staff, holidays and longer absences it is worth setting explicitly — otherwise the view is optimistic.

Does the resource view cover several projects at once?

Yes — load is summed across every project you have access to. Looking at one project in isolation hides exactly the problem that overloads people.

Does the AI warn about overload?

Yes. The PM recommendations surface overloaded resources together with the deadlines that are at risk because of it.
