Project risk analysis — not an afterthought

Risk analysis is usually written the night before the deadline, and three generic risks end up in it. Projektiassistent derives risks from the substance of your project — schedule, budget, dependencies and team — and puts them in a register with impact, probability and mitigation.

01 / Risk register

Risks that are actually yours

The AI looks at where your specific plan is thin: tasks that depend on one person, tight deadlines, uncovered budget lines, external permits and suppliers.

Risk, impact and probability

Every risk gets an impact and probability score and a priority derived from them.

🧯

Mitigations

Each significant risk gets a concrete action, an owner and a due date — not the sentence "we will monitor the situation".

An impact–probability matrix shows at a glance which risks need a decision today.

Ready as an annex

The register is in a form you can submit — the risk chapter of a funding application is generated from it.

02 / Decision readiness

A risk that blocks, not just warns

A risk register is only useful if it affects what the project does. Here critical risks are wired into the stop check: if something essential is unresolved, the project does not proceed.

  • 🛑 A critical risk keeps the project a draft. Uncovered funding, a missing permit or an unconfirmed partner holds the launch.
  • 🔁 Risks update with the project. When a deadline moves or the budget changes, the AI re-scores the risks — the register does not go stale.
  • 🧾 Audit trail. Every assessment and decision stays in the history — later it is clear what was known and when.

What usually comes up

Depending on the project type, the AI surfaces different classes of risk. The structure of the register stays the same; the content follows the project.

Frequently asked questions about risk analysis

What is project risk analysis?

It is a systematic review of what threatens the project: what could go wrong, how likely it is, how big the impact would be and what we do to prevent it. The result is collected in a risk register.

What is a risk register?

A table where each row is one risk with its description, impact and probability score, priority, mitigation and owner. It is updated throughout the project, not only at the start.

How does the AI know my project's risks?

It reads your plan — how tight the schedule is, whether the budget is covered, dependencies, team size and external assumptions — and proposes risks from that. You confirm or change them.

Can the risk analysis go into a funding application?

Yes. The risk chapter of an application is generated from the register in the structure the funder expects.

How often should risks be reviewed?

After every significant change and at least at each milestone. Projektiassistent re-scores risks when the schedule or budget changes.
