When the AI prepares the project plan, it usually creates the initial tasks as well. In the Tasks block you add, edit and track them from there on.
Adding a task (Quick add)
- In the Tasks block, type the task name in the Enter task description... field.
- Choose the Responsible person (the project owner or a user the project is shared with) and the Priority (Low, Medium, High, Critical).
- Set the Start date and End date (deadline).
- Optionally: Buffer (days) — slack after the deadline; Planned effort and Actual effort in hours; Mark as milestone = Yes if the task is an interim goal.
- Press Add.
Generating tasks with AI
- Optionally, choose a Responsible person — this is also applied to the tasks the AI creates.
- Press AI Generation. The AI creates tasks based on the project goal and adds them to the list.
Managing a task
- Marking as done — select the checkbox on the task row.
- Edit — change the description, responsible person, priority, dates, buffer, effort or milestone flag, then press Update.
- Subtasks — type in the Add a subtask... field, choose a responsible person and add it. Subtasks can be marked as done separately.
- Comments — type in Add a comment... and press Post. Comments are visible to everyone the project is shared with.
- Delete — removes the task after confirmation.
The task row shows badges: Overdue, Milestone, progress, buffer, dependency and, once a baseline has been captured, Baseline shifted and Scope increased.
RecommendationFill in Planned effort and the responsible person — resource planning, the critical path and the baseline comparison all rely on them.
