Creating a project is a three-step wizard. You enter the basic information about the project, and the AI uses it to prepare the project plan and documentation in the language you choose. The more precise your input, the better the result.
Open Projects › Create new project (or press Create new project on the dashboard). On the right, the Creation overview and Live summary show your choices as you go.
Step 1 — Foundation
- Choose a template if you like. In the Project template field you can choose a ready-made template. The template pre-fills the methodology, type, a sample goal and critical outputs, and creates starter tasks when the project is created:
- Funding application — application, budget, partner and reporting stages (Hybrid).
- Operations project — a cycle of recurring periodic work: plan, working meeting, execution, review, report (Simple project).
- Enter a Name — short and recognizable, e.g. "Online store integration module".
- Choose a Methodology (see the table below).
- Choose a Type: IT development, Construction, Production project, Management project, Content creation, Consulting, Culture project or Agriculture. The type determines which domain rules and terminology the AI uses.
- Set Needs additional funding: Yes if the project needs funding from outside the core budget (a grant or program). The AI will then also include funding-related activities in the plan.
- Choose Language (Document generation language) — the language in which the project plan and documents are written.
- Write the Goal — at least 3 sentences: what problem you are solving, for whom, what the expected outcome is and what the constraints are. The Improve goal with AI button suggests a more precise and formal wording based on your text; press Use this below the suggestion if it works for you.
- Press Next.
| Methodology | When to choose it |
|---|---|
| Waterfall | Requirements are known at the start and stages follow one another (construction, regulatory projects). |
| Scrum | Software or product development in short iterations, with requirements refined along the way. |
| Kanban | A continuous flow of work without fixed stages (support, content creation, maintenance). |
| Hybrid | A planned framework with flexible execution (e.g. a funded project that includes development). |
| PRINCE2 | Projects with a formal management structure, stage gates and reporting (public sector, large organizations). |
| Simple project | A small project or recurring work where a simple action plan is enough. |
Step 2 — Timeline and content
- Choose the Project start date and Project end date. The Duration (days) field is calculated automatically.
- Enter the Total budget (€). The budget is an important input for the AI when planning resources, and later it becomes the basis for the budget block.
- Write the Critical outputs — each output on a separate line, e.g. "MVP version 1.0", "User training delivered". The Improve outputs with AI button helps you expand the list.
- Optionally, enter the Project Requirements Web Address — the address of a page that lists the project requirements (e.g. a grant program page). The AI takes its content into account.
- The Notification email is pre-filled with your account email; the finished project plan is sent there.
- Press Next.
Step 3 — Files and confirmation
- Drag project-related documents (e.g. the project brief, technical terms, earlier analysis) into the Project attachments area, or click the area and select the files. Allowed formats are PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PNG, JPG and TXT, up to 25 MB in total. The AI uses the content of the files when preparing the plan.
- Review the Creation overview on the right.
- Press Create project.
What happens after you press the button
You can follow the progress on screen: Validating files → Uploading files → Saving data → AI generation → Sending notification. AI generation usually takes 2–4 minutes. During this time the project status is Creating; you can leave the page and come back later. When the plan is ready, the project appears on the Projects page and the plan is sent to your email.
- In the goal, describe why, for whom and what the measure of success is.
- Critical outputs should be tangible results, not activities.
- Add your existing documents — they improve the accuracy of the plan more than anything else.
- Choose the methodology and type deliberately: they change the structure and terminology of the plan.
